چکیده

Miniaturized atomic magnetometers (AMs), particularly spin-exchange relaxation-free (SERF) AMs, have been emerging in clinical imaging applications such as magnetocardiography (MCG) and magnetoencephalography (MEG). Miniaturization, portability, low cost are primary development targets for biomagnetic technologies, well high sensitivity, temporal, spatial resolution. In this article, we propose a low-cost solution system based on which one laser source is used multichannel AM sensor array. A novel design demonstrated miniaturized SERF AM, consisting of single-beam double-pass configuration an optical fiber circulator. The effects temperature power the zero-field magnetic resonance linewidth characterized, experimental results show that present achieves better performance, compared with traditional single-pass configuration. field noise spectrum shows AMs reach sensitivity approximately 86 fT/Hz $^{{1}/{2}}$ at frequency 10 Hz when operating single-channel mode 40 differential two sensors sharing 6-mm baseline. typical adult MCG signal all visible P, QRS-complex, T waves recorded by magnetometer mode. This especially suitable arrays basic building element systems.

Beam-beam Simulations for a Single Pass Superb-factory

A study of beam-beam collisions for an asymmetric single pass SuperB-Factory is presented [1]. In this scheme an e and an e + beam are first stored and damped in two Damping Rings (DR), then extracted, compressed and focused to the IP. After collision the two beams are re-injected in the DR to be damped and extracted for collision again. The explored beam parameters are similar to those used in...

Double Relaxation Oscillation SQUID Systems for Biomagnetic Multichannel Measurements

Multichannel superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) systems based on double relaxation oscillation SQUIDs (DROS) were developed for measuring magnetocardiography (MCG) and magnetoencephalography (MEG) signals. Since DROS provides large fluxto-voltage transfer coefficients, about 10 times larger than the DC SQUIDs, direct readout of the SQUID output was possible using compact roomte...

Non-Scanning Magnetic Field Imaging with Laser-Pumped Atomic Magnetometer.

We present first results on the imaging of the twodimensional magnetic field distributions using a recently developed magnetic field imaging camera (MFIC). The instrument is based on laser-pumped atomic magnetometry with an alkali vapour in a buffer gas. The device provides millimetre spatial and sub-second time resolution, and allows mapping the magnetic field from 2 cm surfaces. We apply the ...

Magnetic resonance imaging with an optical atomic magnetometer.

We report an approach for the detection of magnetic resonance imaging without superconducting magnets and cryogenics: optical atomic magnetometry. This technique possesses a high sensitivity independent of the strength of the static magnetic field, extending the applicability of magnetic resonance imaging to low magnetic fields and eliminating imaging artifacts associated with high fields. By c...

Development of a 2 D Vlasov Solver for Longitudinal Beam Dynamics in Single - Pass Systems ∗

Direct numerical methods for solving the Vlasov equation offer some advantages over macroparticle simulations, as they do not suffer from the numerical noise inherent in using a number of macroparticles smaller than the bunch population. Unfortunately these methods are more time-consuming and generally considered impractical in a full 6D phase space. However, in a lower-dimension phase space th...
